Feathers and shells

Today is our last full day in Mexico, and since we can’t take our collections home with us, I was determined to finish another couple of paintings of shells from the beach and a feather that I found near the golf course.

Here’s  the table where I’ve been painting over the past 10 days:

And the shells: 

I love the variations in colours and patterns on these shells. 

Tomorrow we fly home to the cool north, already looking forward to our next trip south.
